About

Otawanta is a life-long music producer from the south of the Netherlands, now rooted in Nijmegen where he is steadily shaping his place within the underground scene. A wide-ranging listener and constant experimenter, he has explored many musical directions over the years, yet house music has always been the pulse running through his life.

Growing up with Saint Germain playing throughout the household, he developed an early connection to warm, jazzy grooves. This influence stayed with him and continues to guide his identity and sound.

Together with Thönis, his hometown friend and co-founder of Örbital Audio, Otawanta moved deeper into the underground edges of house music. Their shared curiosity sharpened their ears for rich textures, subtle grooves and deep, minimal atmospheres.

In his productions, Otawanta blends these elements into a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-moving. Whether exploring new ideas or refining familiar ones, he searches for grooves that are deep, minimal and intentional.
