Örbital Audio continues its rotation with TooRare – Residual Simulation EP [ORB008], a release exploring groove, texture, and atmosphere through four distinct movements.
Built around TooRare’s detailed approach to rhythm and space, the EP moves between driving energy, weightless moments, textured sound design, and deeper atmospheric territory. Each track follows its own direction while remaining connected through rolling low-end, intricate percussion, and a strong sense of movement.
Across four tracks, Residual Simulation, Keep Working, Mermaids, and Mystic Lady, the release reveals a different side of the same sonic world.
Residual Simulation sets the foundation with a driving groove. Tight percussion and continuous forward motion give the track its energy, establishing the rhythmic center of the EP.
Keep Working shifts into a lighter space. Floaty elements move above the groove, creating an open and weightless feeling while maintaining the underlying pulse.
Mermaids dives further into texture. Detailed sounds and subtle layers move throughout the track, creating depth through constant small changes and sonic interaction.
Mystic Lady closes the release in a more atmospheric field. Spacious elements and a deeper sense of immersion bring the rotation to a restrained and reflective conclusion.
